Já se questionaram sobre o que acontece aos resíduos resultantes da actividade dos laboratórios e da clínica? E se um artista lhes desse uma nova vida, criando esculturas inspiradas no vosso próprio trabalho?
Foi exatamente esse o desafio que lançámos à artista em residência - Clo Bourgard - e todos estão convidados a ver o resultado do seu trabalho, já esta semana! A exposição Insight Inside será inaugurada na quarta-feira, 8 de junho, às 19h00, no Centro de Exposições do Centro Champalimaud.
A residência de arte-ciência-saúde da Clo Bourgard, no Centro Champalimaud, faz parte do programa Bridges to the unknown: crossing art with science, e esta exposição resulta de um trabalho realizado em parceria com a Green Team.
Este estará exposto no Centro de Exposições do Centro Champalimaud até ao dia 26 de junho. As esculturas ficarão à venda no site da P55, plataforma online dedicada à arte, e 20% do valor da venda das peças reverte para a Associação sem fins lucrativos Mama Help.
O Insight Inside é um convite à (re)conexão do corpo e mente e a uma reflexão sobre o que une a ciência, a saúde e a arte.
Juntem-se a nós na quarta-feira, 8 de junho, às 19h00, no Centro de Exposições da Centro Champalimaud. A entrada é gratuita.

Have you ever wondered what happens to the waste materials from the labs and clinic at CCU? What if an artist would give them a new life, by creating sculptures inspired by your own work?
That was exactly the challenge we launched to our in-house resident artist - Clo Bourgard - and you are invited to see the result at the FREE opening next week! The exhibition Insight Inside will have its opening on Wednesday, June 8, 19h00, at the CCU Exhibition Hall. Food & Drinks will be provided.
Clo’s art-science-health residency at CCU is part of the Bridges to the unknown: crossing art with science programme and this exhibition results from a partnership with the Green Team.
The exhibition will continue until June 26 and the artist will be around to tell you more about each of the pieces being displayed. The sculptures will be on sale at p55.art platform, and 20% of the sales will go to the non-profit association Mama Help.
Insight Inside will hopefully allow you to reflect on your own (inside) body and to find new bridges between your work in science, health care and art.
